Mexican American Movement (MAM) Generation v. Chicano Movement Generation

At the end of WW-II and the beginning of the post-war era (1945-65), Mexican-Americans initiated a new social and political civil rights movement throughout the American southwest, westcoast and midwest regions of the US. Identify those organizations and discuss their goals and objectives, and why these organizations were necessary including their respective leaders and leadership that spearheaded them. Between 1965-75 a new Chicano Movement Generation arose as a social and political and ideological movement. Identify and discuss the major organizations, their respective leaders, regions, and their goals and objectives and why these organizations were deemed necessary. Finally, identify and discuss the major and/or fundamental difference(s) between both generations politically and culturally in terms of orientation.
