ESG Methodology Research Associate Role
The ESG Methodology Role will work on three topics: (1) Support the development of ESG metrics and guidance, and enhance Novata’s metric library, (2)
Research and keep abreast of recent ESG developments, this includes standards developments, regulatory changes, and best practices, and (3) Assist the
Sales and Customer Success teams with specific ESG-related questions posed by our end-users and clients.
Instructions
A key element of this role will be to support users collecting ESG data. The purpose of this exercise is to understand how you approach drafting guidance on
collecting ESG data. This exercise consists of further defining an ESG metric and providing specific guidance on how to collect this data point.
We have already provided a basic definition of the metric as well as identified what were the sources behind the creation of this metric. We’d like you to fill
out the missing sections, meaning points (c) Expanded Definition, (d) Why Novata Selected This Metric, (e) Step-by-Step Process on How to Collect this Data.
The total word count for this exercise is 300 words. The target audience for this exercise are the companies who are collecting the ESG data. They belong to
all types of industries so the guidance has to apply to all.
