Introduction:
This course will help me gain a deeper understanding of the real issues that affect health procurement and supply chain management, and appropriate solutions. I believe it is a must do this course for me because I want to pursue a career in PSCM. This master program will be the beginning of the fulfillment of my constant desire to help many people in one of the most essential qualities of their life; their health that is.

1) MY CAREER:
I have just completed the Post-Graduate Diploma in Global Health and Supply Chain management, which gave me an overview of the complexity of management of health pharmaceutical products and commodities. Joining the master course will be an important step towards my dream to contribute to public health research and practice. I picture myself in ten years as a health supply chain management expert professional and a university teacher with a PhD in health procurement and supply chain management. I will transmit my understanding of health pharmaceutical products and commodities management to students who will in turn impact the access to health products and commodities in the world. Alumni and still in touch with my original school of public health, I will also be working for an organization that is innovative and that has ambitions plans for transformational style of leadership in global health supply chain management evoking the reality of global health issues and their appropriate solutions.

2) MY FUTURE ORGANIZATION:
The course will open a new frontier in my career. I need to switch my career from a Direct Care Staff in United States to a global health supply chain expert professional in developing countries.
I near future, I see myself working for organizations like Global Fund, World Bank, UN agencies, USAID, and other international organizations…in developing countries.
My strong knowledge in health management will markedly serve developing countries designing efficient healthcare system of procurement and supply chain management to touch as much population in need. Profoundly confident in this project of creating a sustainable and successful supply chain process, I believe the mastery and understanding of the key role that global health supply chain management plays in ensuring….By following the course, I will critically build an efficient first-class knowledge, leadership skills, evidence-based-decision-making, innovative mindset, expertise and competence based managerial skills l need to help organizations push forward and achieve goals and objectives.

3) MY COUNTRY OF CITIZENSHIP (USA), AND MY COUNTRY OF ORIGIN (RWANDA):
My country of citizenship (USA) needs ambitious expert professionals who have a the same time a thorough knowledge and skills of health supply chains process, and who are excellent strategic leaders, planners, organizers, and teachers, capable of building long-term, fruitful relationship with suppliers, contractors, and distributors around global health supply chain management. In Rwanda (my country of origin) and in most developing countries, the lack of health procurement and supply chain management infrastructure and professionals combined with the luck of experts and leaders in health procurement and supply chains management of pharmaceutical products and commodities in areas such as HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, Covid-19 is a crucial issue for the health of populations. I have made a resolution to help make dreams a reality of dwindle the occurrence of such situation in developing countries. I genuinely believe the course will help me to bring a long-lasting positive impact within international organizations that need to reconcile health consumption to leadership and management in developing countries.
