Rationale for Measure: Students will demonstrate knowledge and values of basic concepts and principles on public social welfare policy, social welfare program designs, and the instruments through which they are expressed: governmental organizations, public departments, welfare bureaus and faith-based organizations.
Students will identify one agency program to evaluate by generating reports that can be effectively used by administrators. Students will identify funding sources to determine the program’s efficiency and effectiveness, as well as ways to enhance its performance. Students will also identify evidence base model to implement within the program evaluation to enhance the program deliverables.
Case Study per the website: Program Evaluation GETUP Inc., yesUCan Program. yesUCan offers parenting education and prevention services to teen parents (females and male). The goal is to prevent pregnancy, decrease high school dropout, and promote parental health education. Program Service: Parenting Class, GED Prep, SAT/ACT Prep, tutoring, life skills groups, and in home health education classes. Objectives are to Decrease high school drop out by 85% in one year of service among all participants. To prevent second pregnancy by 20% in the fiscal year 2020/2021. To execute the program goals and objectives the agency using the ABC of Teenagers Curriculum, design for teen parents (males and females) ages 13-19.

3. RESULTS & (QUALITY ASSURANCE) (Chapter 5)
Quality Assurance aims to identify problems wand correct deficiencies occurring in the process of providing care to client services. How does the agency maintain ethical ACCOUNTABILITY to clients, staff, funding sources, and accreditation body.

To answer this questions INPUTS, OUTPUTS, and PROCESS what can the agency do to improve the operations for the program.

Identify (4) agency outcomes and provide descriptive goals for each – (1) consider if the agency has realistic goals (2) are the current goals and objectives supportive for the agency and should not be changed (3) does the agency need to put specific service or resources in place-Partnerships, (4) does the agency have a sound technology structure in place, (5) does the agency have a clear onboarding and training for staff.

Identify (2) supportive readings on the EBP model the agency is using to support the effectiveness with the population serviced. This will require researching on evidence base curriculum that supports program objectives. Connect this section back to the Inputs, Outputs and process.
