F- Customer and Supplier Engagement

Assessment task: Critically evaluate how marketing and supply chain management can determine the level of success during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ensure that you select any business organisation of your choice and use appropriate theories, models, and examples to underpin your answer, paying particular attention to global/international impact and sustainability issues. Specifically, you should include consideration of the following:
A) A critical analysis of your chosen company’s marketing and supply chain environment. You should pay particular attention to global/international impact of Covid 19 pandemic on marketing and supply chain environment (500words).
B) A critical analysis of marketing mix and any adaptation/standardisation requirements of marketing mix during the COVID-19 pandemic (1000 words).
C) A critical analysis of supply chain management strategies and any adaptation/standardisation requirements of supply chain management practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. You should pay special attention to discuss the impact of global supply chain issues on the selected business organisation and should consider at least one of the supply chain management functions (Demand forecasting, Inventory Management, Lean/JIT, The Bullwhip Effect, Inventory Management, Transport and Warehousing) in your analysis (1000words).
D) A critical analysis of how close synergies between Marketing and Supply Chain can enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and customer service (1000 words)
E) An evaluation of any pertinent ethical and sustainability implications that may arise from supply chain and marketing adaptations during the COVID-19 pandemic (500 words)

4. To enable students to critically reflect upon issues of ethical / socially responsible and sustainability concern in Marketing and Supply Chain Management synergies.
Word count/ duration (if applicable)
A Microsoft Word document of no more than 4000 words excluding references, abstract and appendices. Markers will cease considering content for the purpose of grading and feedback once the stated maximum length has been exceeded. Content beyond this point will not contribute to the determination of the awarded mark and will not be commented upon in feedback.

 The feedback will be available within three weeks of the submission date.

Reassessment
If you fail your assessment, and are eligible for reassessment, you will need to resubmit on or before (see Blackboard for up to date details) . For students with accepted personal mitigating circumstances, this will be your replacement assessment attempt. Students should be aware that there is no late submission period at reassessment (this includes those students who have an accepted PMC request from a previous attempt).

If you need to be reassessed, the school will email you and you will have the opportunity to improve your work as the reassessment will be the same task and you will be informed about the submission date? You will be invited to a reassessment drop-in session to support you through the process.
