You are a Director of Security for an event called Summer Garden. You are informed that this major special event will be taking place at your facility. The following is the details of the event:

Name of Event: Summer Garden
Event Description: As we enter the summer months and our trees start to blossom, what a pleasure it would be to Mix and mingle in one of the Grand Estates Botanical gardens serenaded by live entertainment. This event will be all inclusive, bring the kids to The Aaron Education Center to enjoy games, face painting and much more while you admire nature’s phenomenal wonders.

Event Time: 2pm to 7pm
Estimated Attendance: 300 including Kids

You need to produce the following for the event:
Emergency Preparedness –
An Emergency Preparedness Plan (potential emergency conditions at the event site and prescribes the procedures to be followed to minimize risk and prevent loss of life and property). Some potential emergency conditions for this event could be:
Robbery/Theft of money
Fire
Behavioral Issues/ civil disturbances/verbal and physical fights
Since alcohol will be served, extreme public intoxication
Poor weather conditions like severe thunderstorms, rain, flood
Bomb threats, actice shooter threats, etd.
Loss of Electrical Power, disruptive/intoxicated fans
THE PLAN SHOULD CONSIST OF THE FOUR CATEGORIES OF Planning, Preparedness, Mitigation, and Response.
Crisis Communication plan and Emergency Evacuation –
Develop an Operations/ Communications Plan that includes:
Establish new and effective methods of communication
Options and alternative methods to communicate at all levels from the Operations Center to the venue and public safety operations throughout the entirety of the event.
Develop an Evacuation plan that lists the best course of action to not to evacuate, or to partially evacuate, and sometimes shelter-in place or is relocation the best option.
Determine the least invasive and most effective method to evacuate attendees from potentially dangerous conditions to include partial evacuations.
Evacuation planning should be based on a risk assessment that takes time and distance into account.
Develop an effective interoperable communications capability if multiple local or state agencies are involved in the field. (Local police, etd.)
First Aid and other Medical Emergencies –
A detailed First Aid outline/plan for security
Emergency services agencies (e.g., law enforcement, fire/rescue, emergency medical services, public health and safety) and neighboring Emergency Managers and agency representatives (to coordinate mutual aid needs)
First Aid stations
First aid officials and Emergency medical services – when they will be needed in terms of natural disasters, criminal acts, or accidental circumstances.
Develop an effective interoperable communications capability if multiple agencies are involved in the field
