OVERVIEW
Effective research is easy to write about and talk about, but very difficult to accomplish. There are numerous publications written by industry experts
regarding the “textbook” formula for achieving EHR success in the healthcare industry. In a perfect world, maybe these recommendations have merit.
Unfortunately, healthcare does not exist in ideal conditions – is very dynamic and volatile.
Based on your research topic, prepare for an in-depth discussion with your class fellows. You will be expected to participate in an objective discussion on
your research outcomes. The main concepts will include the assessment of your progress toward writing a comprehensive paper.
FORMAT
This activity will be a boardroom-style (round table) design and online. You are required to have BOTH video and audio capabilities.
AGENDA FOR C-SUITE MEETING
This activity is real (and will be handled in a very authentic manner). Your ideas may be challenged by the participants. The goal is to flush out the best
tactics/ideas/strategies/concerns/challenges for your research work.
You will be individually evaluated by each executive in the following areas:
Identification of main issues and problem
Analysis and evaluation of issues and problems
Recommendation of effective solutions and strategies
Preparation: Use of course readings and addition research to support your research results
Organization and presentation/communication skills
