After finding the general problem, the specific IT problem would be who has the problem and what their specific problem is. As such, Descriptive is not something we do in DIT. Now, Case Study is an option, but there is also pragmatic inquiry. It is very similar to case study, but does not require you to have a site (you can recruit participants over social media). A few things: 1. You need to fill out a prospectus form. I have attached it in this email. 2. I am not quite sure what your current IT problem is. It has to be a problem that exists within the IT field (common one is lacking strategies to do something). This will determine if it is qualitative or quantitative. 3. The research question will match what the problem and the purpose statement says and will not be more than one. 4. We are not in a phase yet to do a literature review just yet.
