1. Discussion One- Replying to Primary and secondary assessment of the trauma patient. 2. Discussion Two- Replying to Assessment and management of traumatic brain injury. Your responses to others do not need to be extensive, with an average of around 250-300 words being sufficient. Your discussion should include a balanced argument to support your ideas and thoughts. You must add new information to the other student’s discussion points. It is recommended you show digital courtesy by responding to any questions or critical commentary posed to your initial discussion. If you notice that a particular paper is lacking in discussion, I would encourage you to contribute there. This ensures that all papers are addressed, and strengthens the learning experience for all group members. Please remember key discussion posts must be referenced correctly. Take note of the marking criteria in Assessment Resources. It is a good idea to spread your wings and get out of your comfort zone, choosing topics you may not be overly familiar with. Contribute to a paper you know little about to gain the most from the learning experience. As per Part A, it is not possible to gain an extension for this assessment item as it is considered group work. The discussion area is open for seven days allowing ample time to complete the task.
