CROSS-COUNTRY PLANNING PROJECT ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Students are to use what they learned to plan a VFR Cross Country flight between departure and destination points. The destination must be one they have never planned a cross-country to before. The student must submit the cross-country planning/data sheets to include routing, fuel calculations, time estimates, weather synopsis, risk factors, NOTAMs, flight restrictions, and any other relevant needs to execute a cross-country flight (i.e.: weather, NOTAMS, airport information, check points, wind corrections, frequencies, and flight plan information). The student will use the navigation log provided in the Cessna Course Library, or as provided by their FTA. The completed Navigation Log and other information will be uploaded as an attachment in the assignment link.
