Assessment 1: Individual Essay (1,500 words) Students will be required to submit a 1,500-word essay on a topic related to the impact of national culture on the management of a business. More specifically, students will have to choose a company and use it as a case to assess the impact of national culture on its business functions (e.g., marketing, human resource management, operations etc.). This assessment considers Learning Outcomes 1 and 2. Further details on the task will be provided in class. Formative assessment will require students to compile a referencing list of the secondary sources they propose to engage in the writing of the essay. 5 Marking criteria Criteria Weighting 1.
