Lab report should include all of the following sections: Cover Page – Include the name of the lab, your name, instructor name, the title of the course, and the date submitted. Center align all text. Purpose – Give a quick description of the report. It should be concise and should summarize the entire lab, from objective to final results. Use one paragraph. Theory – Include any relevant theory, theorems, laws, or principles needed for the lab and briefly describe them. Equipment and Supplies – List all components, equipment, and software used in the lab. Observations/Measurements – Include any data tables from the lab, along with picture proof of the lab’s successful completion. All data tables should be clear and typed. All images should relate to the lab, be cropped appropriately. Discussion – Refer to the data collected and explain it. State if the data support the relevant theory or not. Conclusion – In the conclusion, restate your objectives and indicate if the objectives are met. Describe in detail what you learned and how the lab might be useful in the future. References – References included should be in APA format. All references are academically credible and appropriate.
