H&M case study analysis:
Please answer the three questions outlined below:
1.Using appropriate framework(s) critically evaluate the most important issues in H&M’s external macro and micro (industry) environments that have shaped the company’s development? (30 points)
2. Using the appropriate framework(s) critically evaluate the internal environment (resources, capabilities, organisational culture, etc.) of H&M in order to identify its competitive advantages and disadvantages. Are H&M’s competitive advantages sustainable? (30 points)

Using appropriate model(s) identify and critically evaluate the strategic choices followed by H&M during the period of this case study in terms of its competitive strategies, and the governance (implementation) modes. Based upon your evaluation, what recommendations would you provide to the company? (40 points)

60% to 65% A good understanding of key issues: A relevant answer; a logical and well organised argument; defines key concepts; tends to follow closely the content of lectures; use of relevant examples
