For this paper, you will be writing a 2-3-page (this does not include the title page or reference page) research
paper on a controversial psychological experiment. Including the reference page and title page, it should be 4
pages in length. You will be choosing a controversial experiment from the list provided below and discussing t
following areas. This project is worth 50 points towards your final grade. This paper must be done in APA form
and you MUST have references. This paper should be Times New Roman 12-point font, double spaced.
Your paper should include all of the following components:
Title Page: Title of paper, name, and school.
Write a brief summary of the experiment
Discuss the original hypothesis. What were the researchers trying to learn about human behavior? Why were

Provide an outline for how the experiment was set up. What methodology was used for the experiment? Did th
use surveys, case studies, naturalistic observations, interviews, etc.? Was it done in a lab? Did they use huma
subjects or animal subjects?
What were the outcomes of the study? Results? Were the outcomes different from the original hypothesis?
Were there any ethical issues?
How does this experiment contribute to the field of Psychology? What was discovered about human behavior?
