An important aspect of this assignment is learning to find and integrate relevant social science data and literature with your descriiption and analysis. Use
and cite at least two (2) pertinent assigned course readings, and find, use, and reference a minimum of four (4) additional relevant scholarly sources articles
or books/book chapters that are sociological in terms of focus and approach. Search with key words using Google Scholar and databases such as
Sociological Abstracts. Look at the list of journals in the syllabus for additional ideas about where to find articles. Draw on these sources to relate the
sociologically relevant themes from the class with the issues you are researching in the paper. In some cases, you will need to use statistical databases to
help you in your work. No abstract is required.
