For this coursework assignment, you are required to write a quantitative lab report on the

NOT need to gather data for this assignment. Instead, you will use the information below to
run an analysis on an existing data set and write your report. Your report should be presented
in the same format as outlined in the Reporting Style Guidelines (see the Module Documents
folder on Blackboard), using the section headings that are appropriate for a quantitative report.
The information that you will need to write your report is included in the Summer
Assessments > Assignment 2 (Quantitative Report) tab on Blackboard and in the Week 3
section of the Workshop Handbook (Part 1). These include:
• A link to the online Levels of Processing experiment
• An Excel file containing the data you are required to analyse. If you need to use
SPSS on your home computer, please contact ITMS
• The instructions provided in the “Workshop Week 3: Analysing Levels of Processing
Data” section in the Workshop Handbook (Part 1). Follow these to analyse the
Assignment 2 data set
• Initial background reading on the topic of Levels of Processing. The suggested
papers provide a starting point for the background to your study and will enable you
to state appropriate hypotheses for your report
• Methodological Information and the experimental stimuli
• A Marking Rubric to check that you have fulfilled each of the necessary criteria
Please submit your report including the Reference List and Appendices to Turnitin.
You will find a Turnitin submission link for this assignment in the Summer
