You will do this by identifying the assumptions, beliefs and values that influence how things are done.
What is the impact of the organization’s culture on the success or failure in achieving the desired goals and outcomes?

5.2 Organizational Symbols: Culture in Action
In their discussion on Culture in Action in chapter 13 (pg. 269) of Bolman & Deal (2017), they engage the reader on the topic of “Diversity as a Competitive Advantage.”

Utilizing both this week’s readings and Lorenzo’s perspective, consider what role diversity plays in the culture of the organization you selected for your Organizational Dynamics Analysis.
From your perspective, is a focus on diversity a part of the organization’s culture?
If so, in what ways?
If not, what suggestions might you make to the organization’s leadership, if you had a seat at the decision making table to do so?
