Find and analyze open source materials about any known terrorist or ideological extremist (from any historical
era), and then write a paper about that individual. In Section 1 of the paper, you should discuss her/his
terrorist and criminal activities, including any involvement in extremist groups, types of extremist activities
completed, and interactions with other terrorists/extremists (if applicable). Section 2 of the paper should
provide a life history of that person that includes key events during her/his life. Section 3 should then identify
what you think are the critical factors that pushed her or him to turn to terrorism, integrating what you learned
from the readings and materials from Module 7 Radicalization. You can search for academic sources about the
individualas well as search newspaper sources and other online-open source materials. You can pick any
individual of interest to you, but be sure there are enough materials available to complete the assignment. The
Module 7 reading on the Dylan Roof case, although does not have the exact structure that you should follow,
will be helpful to you as an example of critical issues to consider on background. It will be important for you to
attribute information to your sources.
