this thesis.
Introduce Perspective – Linear perspective.
How does it work? How is it constructed?
What is the role of the eye? How does the eye
work? how do we perceive an art piece?
especially when perspective is envolved?
Introduce the art pieces – Gate of Paradise
(rilievo stiacciato) and fresco of ‘Allegory of
Divine providence’ (Quadratura example).
Which techniques has been used? explain the
bas-relief and the technique of the ‘rilievo
Stiacciato’. What is the role of light, shadow
and colour? (G.o.P)
Quadratura how does it work? explain the
technique. especially in this artpiece.
View points. and proximity. Analysis of the two
art piece. One we can move around and
change the distance between the viewer and
the art-piece. the other is a fix distance (as on
the ceiling) probably designed to be admire
from a specific point. What happen if we look
from other angles?
Why is close proximity associate with
tactile and the more distance view is only
optical?
Highlight all the different between the works,
and aim cited in the introduction, maybe a
graphic diagram as resolution of the problem .
