Return to your original case (assignment C) and consider how you might or might not change your decisions in the selection of diagnostic/prognostic tools, interventions, and outcome measures for this patient. Be sure to cite the literature you used to complete this assignment using AMA citation format.

● Provide a brief (2-3 sentence) summary of your case.
● Select one test/measure/examination procedure you used for this patient. In a maximum of one page, do the following:
o Indicate how the use of this test/measure/exam procedure informed your management of the patient. In other words, why did you use this test? What information did it give you, and how did that information effect the management of your patient?
o Summarize the evidence regarding the reliability and/or validity of the procedures, citing at least one reference. Include specific information (i.e., the value for a reliability coefficient, sensitivity/specificity, etc). Use the resources available to you to interpret what you find (textbook, course material, rehab measures definitions, etc.).
o Based on your evaluation of the evidence, would you use this test again? If yes, explain why. If no, what test might you use instead, and why (cite supporting evidence?
o NOTE – if you can’t find any evidence to support the use of the test, you better have a good explanation for why you would continue to use the test
● Select at least 1 intervention that you used for this patient. In a maximum of one page, indicate
o How strong is the evidence supporting the use of this intervention in your population? In other words, indicate whether the use of the intervention is supported by clinical practice guidelines (grading for recommendation), systematic reviews (Please include effect size – absolute or standardized), or individual studies (Please include effect size i.e. change scores for 1-2 key outcomes). If it is an individual study, is it an experimental study or an observational study? Cite specific studies.
o Based on your evaluation of the evidence, indicate whether you would use this intervention again. If yes, explain why. If no, what might you use instead, and why (cite specific evidence)?
● Select at least 1 outcome measure that you used for this patient. In a maximum of one page, do the following:
o Summarize the evidence supporting the use of this outcome measure. Cite specific evidence, including values for the MCID/MDC if available.
o Based on your evaluation of the evidence, indicate whether you would use this intervention again. If yes, explain why. If no, what might you use instead, and why (cite specific evidence)?
