Visit the following website: https://finra-markets.morningstar.com/BondCenter/Default.jsp. Select the Search tab. Type in the name of your corporation under the Issuer Name and click on Show Results.
Select one bond from the results with a near-term maturity (near the top of the list) and a price below 100.000. List the Issuer Name, Coupon rate, Coupon type, Maturity date, Bond Ratings, Last trade price, and Last trade yield. Assuming the bond is a fixed-rate bond, is this a par, discount, or premium bond? How can this be identified (i.e. what is the relation between the yield and the coupon rate).
Select another bond from the results with a far-out maturity (near the bottom of the list) and a price above 100.000. List the Issuer Name, Coupon rate, Coupon type, Maturity date, Bond Ratings, Last trade price, and Last trade yield. Assuming the bond is a fixed-rate bond, is this a par, discount, or premium bond?
