F- Human Development Stages and Occupations Portfolio

This is a quarter long assignment that you will be completing in stages. It will take an overview of human development and relationship to the 9 occupations from infancy to old age. A chapter of the assignment will be due every 2 weeks starting in week 4 with the last section due on Week 10.

For all information obtained, appropriate APA formatting must be completed. You must cite the resources where you find your information and provide in text citation using APA-7 formatting with appropriate reference list at the end of the paper. Please utilize bulleted, sentence formatting using the example as a guide. Failure to follow formatting expectations will result in loss of 10 pts from the assignment.

For each chapter of a human development stage, please complete the following:

For each life stage, what occupations are introduced or in some way potentially changed due to the changes in developing person? You will research what happens to a human being during this stage of development and what skills related to an occupation are acquired or changed. Please use your textbook, reputable internet sources and your OTPF-4. ALL decisions in your assignment are based on typical (average) human developmental patterns. Reflect on what occupations are acquired or refined, what are reduced, changed or eliminated? Identify the specific sub-occupation – per the OTPF-4 that you are referencing. Remember that human occupational performance is influenced by the child’s biological self, psycho-social factors, culture and the environment.
