In the physician practice where you are the office manager, the providers are disappointed in their patient satisfaction scores. Feedback indicates that patients are frustrated with the amount of time it takes to schedule an appointment when they call in, commenting that the official line is often busy. However, the patients were pleased that they have the ability to view test results via the patient portal.

Recommend to the providers how the patient portal can be used beyond supplying test results in ways that might improve their satisfaction scores.
