In this section students are able to turn-in their outdoor lab report. If done at FIU, your lab report will be provided and signed by the TA present during the
observation session and taken with you to upload onto Canvas. If done outside of FIU, students must complete the worksheet as well and provide
information such as flyer of the event or a picture of the event and telescope that was used.
Important questions to ask when observing on your own.
>What is the type and make of the telescope? in otherwords the company that made it and the model.
>What is the apperture or diameter of the telescope?
>What is the focal length of the telescope?
>What is the focal lenth of the eyepiece? (if it has one)
