Read the question carefully. Credit will only be given for responses that directly answer the
question. Your grade will be based on your ability to demonstrate appropriate use of specific
course concepts in answering the question rather than informal or ‘person on the street’ thoughts. Clearly identify specific ideas from the lectures and chapters (rather than stating the overall theme of the lecture/chapter).
Question:
Select concepts from each Lecture 10, 11, and 12 and provide a rational as to how the concepts you have selected relate to each of the last Chapters (12-15) in the course textbook. While the topics in the lectures are different from those in the text, you will be graded on your ability to creatively and logically relate a wide range of concepts from these chapters to the above indicated lectures. Be as precise as possible.
More specifically:
You may choose to examine one or several concepts from each lecture and relate these to each chapter. You may choose to select different concepts from a lecture to relate to different chapters in the text. Provide a rationale as to how material from each of these chapters may support, challenge, put in perspective, limit, extend, etc. the materials presented in lecture. You will be graded on the clarity and depth of your rationales. Organize your paper so that it reviews each lecture in order. Lecture 10 will be the first heading.
Within this heading indicate a first subheading Chapter 12, then Chapter 13, Chapter 14 and Chapter 15. Your next major heading would be Lecture 11 and again have subheadings for each chapter in order. Proceed in the same way for each the Lectures.
• Complete this essay so that the paper represents the four lectures in order and each chapter
is in order under each lecture.

Format:
• Papers must not exceed 1200 words. Grader will stop reading at 1200 words.
• Be precise and concise. You will be graded on the clarity and depth of your rationales. (Note:
repetition of the same concept with the same rationale will not earn credit). Brief concise
examples/applications may be used to make your points more explicit.
• Write in compete sentences NOT bullet points
• Single space
• There is no need for an introductory or summary/conclusion paragraphs as these tend be
repetitive.
• The course textbook and lecture materials need only be identified or referenced by putting in brackets T for textbook and page number(s) (e.g., T37). Similarly lecture materials need have in bracket L followed by the Lecture number (e.g., L4).
