Assignment Paper

Instructions:
Please use this Word document for your assignment by typing your answers after the questions. Documents must be uploaded into Dropbox as a Microsoft Word Document or a PDF. Please turn in your documents as Word documents or PDF files. Assignments submitted as a pages file, google doc, etc. will not be accepted and will be graded as a zero. (Once you submit your assignment, you can download it, and it will pop up on your screen as we will see it. If you get an error message, we will get an error message. These will also be graded as a zero). Please think your entire answer through before you start writing. Good grammar, spelling, and paragraph structure will be a factor in grading. The primary factor in grading will be 1) how well you express yourself, 2) how thoughtful your answer appears to be, and 3) expressing an understanding of the topics discussed in class or the reading and your ability to support your position.

Please note that you don’t earn full credit just by answering the question. You get full credit if you demonstrate full understanding and deep reflection. There is no minimum length; however, I expect that it would take more than one paragraph to answer each question. Also, I enjoy a good sense of humor, but please take the questions seriously, and write in a professional and formal manner.

Part 1: (Grading included in Part 3)
Write a description of an influence scenario similar to the samples found on Canvas. The scenarios are entitled: The New VP, Delivery Vehicles, Getting it Done, and The Maker of Trouble. Notice in these scenarios there are several issues to write about the story as it develops so that you have enough content to apply the concepts to. Your scenario can be an actual situation from your past or present circumstances. It may also be something you anticipate in your future, or you can make one up. You may also take an actual case and embellish it so that it fits the assignment. My best advice is to write a good scenario that fits the assignment—doing the analysis and writing the paper will be much easier if you do so.
