After viewing the video “Just A Routine Operation” by Laedal Medical Human Factors in Patient Safety and reading about issues in patient safety and professional communication in your textbook and at the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) (Links to an external site.) website, choose at least one safety issue that was ignored in this case scenario. After carefully researching the issue, explain how the outcome could have been altered by the nurses altering their behaviors, and what safety measures could have helped to protect this patient.
