About this Assignment
In this course, you learned that there intrinsic and extrinsic motivation can determine the outcome of completing a task. You also learned that setting appropriate goals and learning how to disengage from pursuing certain goals can be important in establishing your well-being and creating happiness and personal growth. In 2000-3000 words, students will analyze their own motivation tendencies towards completion of specific life goals (personal and professional).
Project Prompt
Students will indicate which aspects of their life goals are intrinsic and which are extrinsic, explaining why, and citing source materials to support this analysis. Students must indicate how the pursuit of these goals has affected them psychologically and apply course material to explain why they feel the way that they do. Finally, students should use the theories of Maslow, Rogers, and Seligman to determine how happiness and growth can be achieved through pursuing these life goals. In analyzing the student’s current goals, students should cite specific concepts in the course materials and provide at least three additional journal articles to explain and justify the application of these concepts. There should be a reference section in APA formatting. This reference section does not count towards the 2000-3000 word requirement.
