Project Paper

You are to select a company located locally or US Mainland to research for your project paper. The central question you will answer is What makes this company an excellent workplace for their employees?

You are required to discuss the following within your paper:

Describe how this company has become successful in supporting their employees through the work environment.

Explain why the company is considered an “ideal” employer.

Assess the factors which makes your company of choice an efficient and viable workplace.

Describe the innovations the company is known for and demonstrates within the workplace.

Evaluate the various training opportunities and provide examples.

Describe the demographics of the employees.

Compare your company to their competitors and discuss how they rise above their competition.

Identify the pitfalls and/or criticism of the company.

Connect a minimum of 4 concepts you have learned in class to your company of choice.

Project Paper Topic:

First required assignment is to submit a short, one- paragraph (150 words), explanation as to why you are interested in researching your company of choice. This assignment (10 points) is due by Friday, August 28 via Laulima assignment link.

Project Paper Outline: Submit a structured outline of your paper and include a reference page with a minimum of 4 references in APA style format. This assignment (20 points) is due by Friday, September 18th via Laulima Assignment link.

Project Paper Draft: You are required to submit a draft for your project paper. Your draft should also include your most up-to-date reference page. Your draft should be a minimum of 4 pages. If you would like, you can submit more than 4 pages for your draft. This assignment (30 points) is due by Sunday, October 11th via Laulima Assignment link.

Final Term Paper: Your final project paper is due on Wednesday December 2nd via Laulima Assignment link. The final term paper is worth 100 points. The final paper will be written in APA style format and should be a minimum of 1,500 words (~6 pages double-spaced). Use 12-point Times New Roman font, line spacing should be double-spaced and you should only have a single space after each period. Be sure to cite appropriate (4) APA-style references. Ten (10) points will be subtracted from the paper for each day it’s late.
