Need a historiographic essay with 6 pages + a 7th page bibliography in MLA format. Minimum 4 sources, and all sources must be peer-reviewed journal articles and/or book-length monographs written by HISTORIANS ONLY. Sources can not be by anyone who does not have a PHD in history.
Essay Format:
1) State the issue that you are investigating, explaining why it is important in one or two introductory paragraphs, establishing the relevant historical content.
2) Discuss in the body of the text how each of the sources deals with this issue, stating exactly what each book or article offers and whether authors agree or disagree with one another. Be sure to state the thesis of each sources as related to your topic.
3)In a concluding couple of paragraphs discuss what questions are left unanswered and what you would add to the discussion.

One you pick the topic, pick something specific about the topic to gather the sources on. For example if you pick Plessy v Ferguson, you must find 4 sources with similar sub-topics about Plessy v Ferguson. EX: Education during Plessy v Ferguson. These topics are very broad and you can pick anything specific about them as long as it is between the years (1865-2000). All sources must be from (1865-2000) as well. Please no plagiarism.
