For this essay, you will be arguing whether GMO’s help feed the world or make the world sick. Use the readings we’ve covered in class, the documentary, and do some additional research on GMO’s. Some good databases to consult are Opposing Viewpoints, Ebscohost, JSTOR, CQ Researcher, and Proquest. When searching for sources, enter “genetically modified organisms” vs. GMO’s. A good search term would be “genetically modified organisms” and “health.” Use these sources to support your argument on the effect that GMO’s have on the world. Make sure your sources are reliable; do research on them to make sure they are not biased.
