Week #5 Discussions: Sue Your School
How important is the school where you earn your degree? While there is no easy, stock answer (type of degree, profession, etc. all play a part), it is a question worth considering if you have not already done so.
Read the story of Anna Alaburda in the link below and comment on whether or not you believe she should win her lawsuit and why. Also, share your transfer plans and what kind of consideration you have put into the school(s) you are considering. What is your dream school? How employable will you be? What do you think of Ms. Alaburda’s case and what can one do to avoid being in a similar situation?
