Compare and Contrast one of the prompts below and evaluate a recommendation for one

Prompt 1:
The magazine that you are working for specializes in articles on trends and reforms in the educational
system. Your boss is considering two articles, “On Campus, Failure is on the Syllabus” by Jessica Bennett
and “The Case against Grades” by Michael Thomsen, to put in this month’s issue of the magazine.
Unfortunately, your boss does not have the time to read the articles in detail and evaluate the form and the
content in each.
Your boss has asked you to write a formal comparison of the two articles (compare-contrast essay),
evaluating their content and form. You will also need to make a recommendation for one of the articles as
part of your conclusion.
Prompt 2:
You are a member of the panel that selects guest speakers to present at @King. Your panel is considering
Amy Cuddy with her TED talk “Your Body Language May Shape Who You Are” and Susan Cain with her
TED talk “The Power of Introverts” for a presentation at Magna Hall. This speech will be for Seneca
students and faculty.
The panel has asked you to prepare a formal comparison of the two TED talks (compare-contrast essay),
evaluating the content and form. You will also need to make a recommendation for one of the TED talks in
your conclusion.

Choose one of the prompts and create and a compare and contrast essay to compare them. You don’t have to
creat an outline for the essay but i will porvide a rubric on how to cretae a compare and constrast essay
below to help organize your thiughts. If you would like to create a formal version be my guest..(extra pay).
