2. Are children more educationally motivated in college versus high school? Do students take their college education more seriously compared to their high school education? If so, why?
3. In “Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior,” Amy Chua feels that “Western” parents are “extremely anxious about their children’s self-esteem.” Compare and contrast American parents to their Chinese counterparts. Are American parents too lenient, and Chinese parents too strict?
